My Top 10 List for Galena, Illinois

Galena is one of my favorite destinations me and my family can go to for a weekend and just have fun and relax. When I am in Galena it is like a checklist of things I want to do before I have to leave. There are so many fun things to do in Galena which makes it really hard to choose what is and what isn't going to be on my checklist but there are some specific things that you must do before you leave. This is my checklist just to give you an idea of what I like to do and things that you may like to do here too:

• Get lunch or dinner at Little Tokyo

• Kayak

• Horseback riding

• Zip line and ropes course

• Chestnut Mountain

• Go to the clubhouse and play games, basketball, and a swim

• Walk down to the lookout points over lake Galena

• Rent a pontoon

• Golf on one of the many beautiful courses

• Hike

These are just my top ten things I like to try to do in Galena every time I'm up here. There are many more things I love to do while I'm at my home away from home. I hope that at some point you will be able to come here and enjoy this wonderful place as much as I do and more and hopefully you will be able to make your own list that you like to do every time you come up here.
